There was once a businessman who was sitting by the beach in a small Brazilian village. As he sat, he saw a Brazilian fisherman rowing a small boat towards the shore having caught quite a few big fish. The businessman was impressed and asked the fisherman, “How long does it take you to catch so many fish?” The fisherman replied, “Oh, just a short while.”

46 year-old man reveals the regrets that have led to a life of emptiness and pain. Don’t let this be you.

A recent post on the Reddit Forum Today I f*cked up, by 46-year-old John Jerryson recounts how he wasted his young life by pursing those things in his 20’s, which only now in his 40’s does he realise where not the most important things to pursue. The man’s story is one of regret, and a great reminder that we should very carefully think about what we give importance to in our life. The original post on Reddit is well worth a read for the comments that follow. Above all we must also realise that it’s never to late to change, as long as we see the error of our ways…
